Clothes Show Live

On Saturday the 6th of December my friends and I travelled up to Birmingham to go to clothes show live in the NEC. We stayed overnight in a nearby hotel and went to NEC on Sunday, and let me tell you- it was amazing! As soon as we entered the main hall I was greeted by the massive Rimmel makeup stand, where I bagged the £10 goodie bag that had £30 worth of items in it (bargain).

I also trooped around the other beauty stands, looking for as many discounts as possible- one of te best has to be the goodie bag from Models Own, were you could choose 3 nail-polishes of your choice added to your goodie bag worth £65 which I got for a tenner. Other buys included a couple of tops and a beanie, also a amazing perfume set worth over £100 for £20!

But finally we entered the Alcatel one touch fashion theatre and watched the main show, presented by Jim Chapman! The show started with a man getting his shoes polished and then the big backdrop screen lit up with Times Square, with the models bursting onto the set. The whole shows theme was New York, but my favorite scene was a stunning 'Snow Queen' dance, featuring a beautiful glittery sliver dress with a huge train!

At the very end of my time at clotheshow we qued up for a good 45 minutes to see Jim Chapman and take a photo with him, eventually we did and wow- it was crazy amazing!

Get your Del Boy on

The shearling coat trend is hitting us hard this autumn, for this style of coat is ideal for the colder months ahead- due to its cozy interior. Shearling coats come in a variety of colours and shapes, but my favourite style is a faux shearling sleeveless biker jacket, paired with distressed skinny jeans and black Chelsea boots. Shearling coats are practical but fashion forward-  they're not too expensive either.
